Battery disposal
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries so that proper disposal can be ensured. You can return batteries after use free of charge at the point of sale or in its immediate vicinity (e.g., at municipal collection points or in retail stores). You may also return batteries to us by sending them with sufficient postage or by delivering them free of charge to our branch: Kai Seeberg - Frenchman Energy, Bremer Straße 339, 49086 Osnabrück.
2. Meaning of the symbols
Batteries or rechargeable batteries that contain hazardous substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin. This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. Near the bin symbol you will find the chemical designation of the hazardous substance. Cd stands for Cadmium, Pb stands for Lead, and Hg stands for Mercury.
