Restoration of deep-downloaded "dead" batteries
Unlike most other brands and product series, the Blue Smart IP22 charger will try to recharge a deep-discharged battery by forceing it out with a weak charging current. The normal charging operation is then resumed as soon as there is sufficient voltage between the battery connections.

Trend -setting efficiency
With an efficiency of up to 94%, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industrial standard. After the battery has also been fully charged, electricity consumption drops to less than 0.5 watts, which is about five to ten times better than the industrial standard.
Aaptive 7-stage charging algorithm
The 24/16 (1) Blue Smart charger is characterized by its microprocessor-controlled, "adaptive" battery management. “Adaptive” means that the loading process is automatically adjusted to the type of battery use.
Storage mode: Less maintenance and aging in the resting state of the battery
The storage mode is always activated if no discharge has been carried out within 24 hours. The loading tension is then reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 24V battery) in order to minimize gas development and thus prevent corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the level of the gas voltage. This achieves a kind of compensation charge that prevents the electrolystal layering and sulfating - the two main reasons for premature battery failure.
