The LiFePO₄ 12.8/180 Smart Battery from Victron is a state-of-the-art LiFePO₄ battery specifically designed for demanding off-grid energy applications. With a nominal voltage of 12.8 V, it can be flexibly integrated into various energy systems and supports series, parallel, or hybrid configurations. Additionally, the built-in Bluetooth function enables monitoring of cell voltages, temperatures, and alarm status, ensuring precise control of battery conditions.

Efficient and Economical – LiFePO₄ Smart Battery

Although LiFePO₄ batteries are more expensive than AGM or GEL batteries, the higher initial cost will pay off in most cases. With a service life of up to 5000 cycles, they surpass even the best lead-acid batteries by a wide margin. In addition, the LFP 12.8/180 offers 70% space and weight savings. Its energy efficiency of 92% also significantly exceeds the 80% of lead-acid batteries, which is crucial for off-grid systems, especially independent solar and/or wind power installations.

Versatile: Series and Parallel Connections

Victron Energy Smart lithium batteries can be connected in series, parallel, or a combination to build a battery bank for system voltages of 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V. A maximum of 20 batteries can be used in one system, providing up to 46 kWh of storage in a 12 V system. This flexibility allows for tailored battery solutions for different requirements and system configurations, guaranteeing reliable and efficient energy storage with Victron Smart lithium batteries.

Monitoring with the VictronConnect App

With the VictronConnect app, you always have control over your LiFePO₄ batteries. Via Bluetooth, you can conveniently monitor cell voltages, temperature, and alarm status. Thanks to instant display in the app’s device list, you can view important data without establishing a direct connection to the product. This feature is extremely useful for quickly detecting and locating issues like cell imbalance. With VictronConnect, you keep your power supply in view—easy and effective.
