II is ideally suited for professional marine use, yachts, vehicles, and land-based off-grid applications. It also features an integrated anti-islanding protection function. Several different system configurations are possible.

PowerControl and PowerAssist – boosting shore power or generator capacity
A maximum shore power or generator current can be set. The MultiPlus-II then takes other AC loads into account and uses only the current that is still "available" to charge the battery. This prevents the generator or shore power connection from being overloaded
(PowerControl function).
With the PowerAssist function, the PowerControl principle reaches a new dimension. Peak loads often occur only for a limited period of time. In such cases, the MultiPlus-II immediately compensates for insufficient generator, shore power, or mains power using energy from the battery. When the load is reduced, the "surplus" energy can be used to recharge the batteries.
Solar power: AC power even during a mains failure
The MultiPlus-II can be used in both off-grid and grid-connected PV systems, as well as in other alternative energy systems. It can be used with both solar charge controllers and grid-tied inverters.
Two AC outputs
The main output ensures uninterrupted operation. In the event of a mains failure or an interruption in generator power, the MultiPlus-II takes over the supply of the connected loads. The switchover is so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is ensured.
The second output only supplies power when AC power is available at the input of the MultiPlus-II. Loads that must not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output. The loads connected to the second output are taken into account by the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions.
Virtually unlimited power through parallel and three-phase operation
Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel for high power demand.
Apart from parallel connection, three units of the same model can also be configured for a three- But that's not all: up to 6 sets of three units can be connected in parallel
-phase output.
On-site system configuration, monitoring and control
Settings can be changed within minutes using VEConfigure software (a computer or laptop and MK3-USB interface are required for this).
Several monitoring and control options are available: Ekrano GX, Cerbo GX, laptop, computer, Bluetooth (with optional VE.Bus Smart Dongle), battery monitor, Digital Multi Control, and remote configuration and monitoring
Install a Cerbo GX or other GX products to connect to the internet.
Operating data can be stored and viewed free of charge on our VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
If systems are connected to the internet, they can be accessed remotely and settings can be changed.
