The temperature measurement can also be used to adapt the available battery capacity according to the battery temperature. The available battery capacity decreases with a falling battery temperature. Compared to the capacity of a battery at 20 ° C, the capacity drops by 18% at 0 ° C and already 40% at -20 ° C. The battery computer takes this into account in the calculation, so that there is always an exact capacity display on the monitor at each battery temperature.
