The Isotherm SP unit cools with seawater. This has the advantage that efficient cooling performance can be guaranteed even on warm days, regardless of the air temperature inside the boat. The SP system consumes a minimum of power and operates particularly quietly, as it does not require a fan or pump. The Isotherm SP system uses the movement of the boat hull to dissipate heat downward and then outside through a special drain. The pipe guarantees optimum flow so that the same amount of water can be taken in and discharged with every movement. The innovative connection with free-flowing heat exchanger provides a highly efficient cooling system.
Since the through-hull fitting is mounted away from the boat's center of gravity, even the slightest movement of the boat or the mast on a sailing yacht creates a pumping motion. This movement leads to constant water exchange and thus cooling. At the same time, the exchange prevents the unit from clogging. Quiet, as there is no fan or pump. No additional hull penetrations.
