Isotherm 3701 refrigeration/freezer system ITC+ 12/24V, SP seawater-cooled, with ITC control and holding plate
The Isotherm ITC+ systems were developed for installation in existing cool boxes. They are primarily intended for use on sailing boats, where battery power is especially valuable. The ITC+ system allows maximum cooling performance with minimal load on the batteries. It detects when surplus energy from the boat engine's generator is available and increases the compressor speed so that the cold storage unit is cooled down quickly. When no surplus energy is available, the system reduces consumption accordingly. The stainless steel cold storage unit can be installed at any angle high up in the cool box before being connected to the compressor unit. Connection is made using 3 m long, 6 mm thick flexible copper pipes with quick couplings. The compressor unit is so small that it can be placed in a locker or another unused space within the connection distance to the cold storage unit. After connecting the power cables to the battery, the pre-filled cooling system is ready for operation.

Third generation refrigeration compressor with refined ITC+ system. The new Danfoss compressor is not only more compact, but also considerably lighter and more efficient. In a system without ASU, the energy saving compared to older compressor types is up to 20%. With ITC+ and other refinements, energy consumption has been reduced by up to 50% compared to previous models. The compressor runs so quietly that we have now integrated a separate speed control for the fan, as it was more audible than the compressor. The new ITC+ system regulates the compressor and fan to the lowest possible speed when they are running only on battery power.

The clear external ITC Digital Display shows, controls and regulates the temperature in the refrigerator or freezer. The attractive user interface and sophisticated product interaction significantly reduce the unit's power consumption. Thanks to the built-in air sensor, the electronic control unit detects the actual air temperature and processes it in combination with the user-selected settings to optimize compressor operation and thus power consumption. All data is displayed on the control display.
