The Victron MPPT 100/50 -without Bluetooth- belongs to the large family of BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers and, like its larger siblings, it already offers ultra-fast power tracking and can therefore increase the yield of your solar system. Greater charging and PV power and more protection compared to the smaller models. The Blue Solar MPPT 100/50 offers overheating protection with switch-off function and automatic restart after reaching a normal operating temperature. In addition, there is a PV reverse current protection which is only available from this device onwards in the Blue MPPT family.

High-speed MPP tracker of the latest generation
In particular in cloudy weather, when the light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves the energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charging controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.In addition, the 100/50 features several other innovative technologies such as the VE.Direct communication port.

Programming: Real-time data and history display
Modern Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, Macbooks and other devices can be connected to the Bluetooth Smart Dongles and the MPPT app or the GX Color Control via VE.Direct, for example. Please note that Bluetooth Smart Dongles and GX Color Control are separate items that are not included in the scope of delivery of the charge controller but can be purchased from us as an option.

VE.Direct data communication port
VE.Direct in text mode transmits all important parameters to other devices connected to the charge controller every second and thus offers the possibility of communication with additional devices such as the Bluetooth Smart Dongle or the GX Color Control Panel from Victron. The VE.Direct connection is intended for products where full Canbus integration (VE-Direct) would be too expensive.
