The Wallas 88 DU is an extra-flat designed marine diesel stove. The recessed ceramic hob is all you see once the stove is installed – a state-of-the-art marine cooking system.
Unlike a dangerous propane system, the 88 DU uses diesel as fuel to fulfill its role as a safe and durable hot-air stove you can rely on for years.
Unlike other systems, the Wallas diesel stove draws the oxygen required for combustion from inside the cabin, but vents the exhaust air outside the cabin. This feature automatically brings fresh air into the cabin, dries the boat interior more quickly, and reduces the spread and effects of mould.
A red LED warning light recessed into the ceramic hob illuminates when the stove is hot.
No propane
- Ban propane from on board and forget carrying heavy gas cylinders onto your boat.
- Save the space needed for a gas locker and use it for something better.
- The Wallas diesel combustion process makes dangerous gaseous fuels on board unnecessary.
No open flame
- An open flame on board is always a hazard. No Wallas stove has such an open flame.
- Open flames also release moisture inside your boat. Unlike propane systems, Wallas stoves draw the air they need for the combustion process from inside your cabin, but vent the exhaust air outside. This process dries the cabin interior.
Refuel your stove together with the boat
- If you have a diesel engine on board, it is practical to use our tank connection to supply the stove directly with diesel from the main tank.
