The Smart Meter Shunt is a battery monitor. It measures battery voltage and current. Based on these measurements, it calculates the state of charge, remaining runtime, and tracks historical data such as the deepest discharge, average discharge, and number of cycles. The Smart Meter Shunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app. This app is used to read all monitored battery parameters and can also be used to configure or change settings.
