USG-2 NMEA 0183 USB converter USB-to-serial gateway
The USG-2 ensures safety and reliability when connecting a PC to your NMEA 0183 network.
It converts a USB port into a bidirectional serial port that is suitable for connection to an NMEA 0183 data bus to the marine standard.
It offers a much more secure connection compared to standard USB-to-serial converters.

It converts a USB port into a bidirectional serial port that is suitable for connection to an NMEA 0183 data bus to the marine standard.
It offers a much more secure connection compared to standard USB-to-serial converters.
The galvanic separation is guaranteed by the ISO-Drive ™ output and the opto-insulated input, which makes installation easily and free of earth grinding.
The input uses the opto isolation circuit of actisense to protect all connected devices from the most common system errors. The input can receive signals with very low levels that are often too small to be received by a serial PC port.
The USG-2 is the safest way to connect the data network of a boat to a on-board PC.
