The 10W 
Offgridtecolp V2 solar module relies on an overlapping wafer design and the progressive Perc-Technology. Thanks to its small size, this module is extremely practical and ideal for 12V applications in which limited space is available, such as in portable solar charging devices, small solar systems for motorhomes or boats as well as other applications that require a compact but powerful energy source.

It is the revised version of the popular OLP 10W 12V solar module (MPN 3-01-013100). It offers optimal performance and a compact design for flexible installations. In the new version, the solar modules are equipped with improved solar cells and 11 bus bars, which leads to an improved lighting and reduces the effect of partial shading.

Overlapping design

The overlapping in the wafer design of monocrystalline solar modules is crucial for their extraordinarily high module efficiency. It enables more precisely use of the available area, minimizes performance losses through reduced cable resistance and limited material losses during production. The targeted arrangement of the wafers effectively minimizes spaces between them, thereby increasing the power density and optimizes the overall efficiency of the modules. This method is therefore of particular advantage for solar applications in rooms with a limited area, since it maximizes the energy generation per unit unit.

Perc-Technology

The
Perc-Technology in offgridtec OLP solar modules increases the efficiency of the solar cells significantly. It uses a dielectric layer with tiny laser -drilled holes to reflect on light back in the cell. This not only improves absorption in longer wavelengths, such as flat radiation angles or clouds, but also offers additional opportunities for photons to create electricity. This technology optimizes the energy yield over different lighting conditions, lowers the total costs and maximizes the yield per unit of area.
