The new edition of the Steca Tarom sets new standards in this performance class. A graphic display informs the user about all important system data and allows the controller to be configured and adapted to the specific requirements of the individual system.
A variety of interesting functionalities allows the user to adapt the controller to the special conditions of his system. The system is optimally regulated and the batteries protected using the significantly improved state of charge calculation. The Steca Tarom charge controller is the best choice for system sizes up to 2,400 Wp at three voltage levels (12 V, 24 V, 48 V).
The integrated data logger saves all important system data, which can be read out via an open Steca RS232 interface. An external temperature sensor can be connected as an option. Two additional switching contacts can be freely configured as a timer, night light function, for starting generators or as a surplus manager. This solar charge controller can regulate systems of up to 8,400 Wp on three voltage levels (12 V, 24 V, 48 V).
The Steca Power Tarom is based on the technology of the Steca Tarom controller. Connected in parallel, several controllers from this series can be operated via a conventional DC bus in a simple solar home system or hybrid system. In this way, an output of more than 20 kWp can also be achieved.
