The warm shower kit is the simple way to equip travel vehicles or boot & yacht with warm air heating and at the same time hot water. In contrast to technically elaborate combination agents, the kit from two individual devices is cheaper, but above all less susceptible to complete failures. And if it has to be, it can even be repaired yourself when traveling.
The strength of the warm shower kit is that it is simple and the two main elements (heating and boiler) work separately. Defects on one component do not automatically influence the other. A defect on the boiler is unlikely due to the high quality of material and processing with great pressure strength - but, for whatever reason, the heating continues completely unimpressed and this is also a good impressed. Because not being able to shower hot is one - the night at maybe -20 degrees in a completely cooled vehicle, the other.
The warm shower kit 2.0 is therefore a simply built up and easy to build. It is therefore perfect for self -builders, but of course also for the professional manufacturer who wants to offer its customers a low -fault and maintenance -friendly solution for his trips.
Function:
The warm shower kit 2.0 can produce hot water in three different ways:
- Via an electrical heating element, that is, via electricity, if you have enough reserves or are connected to country power.
- Simply by the way when the heating runs - without consuming any additional energy. Hot water almost forms the "waste product".
- NEW: The boiler can be integrated into the engine's cooling water cycle to heat either the domestic water itself or a second water loop. Conversely, the engine can also be preheated to make the start more gentle (not suitable for use in arctic temperature ranges).
Each of these three options has its advantages and can be used if it fits best. After a few days of self -sufficient camping in heat, for example, you don't want to let the heating run, nor is the water from driving heated up. However, if it is too warm for the heating, there is probably solar yield, that is, enough electricity in the batteries that hot water can be generated via the electrical heating element.
With the combination of three possibilities in every situation, this kit always offers the one that fits perfectly.
Options for integration into the cooling water cycle:
- Cooling water cycle heats the heat water, i.e. the cooling water cycle is connected to the boiler and heats up to shower water for shower while driving. (Attention: Since the temperatures of the cooling water can rise above 100 ° C (due to pressure), a valve or switching off the circulation pump must be avoided overheating the boiler!)
- Boiler heats up cooling water cycle (motor), which means the reversal of the above function. The cooling circuit of the engine can be preheated by connecting the boiler to a 230V/110V current source or using warm air from the auxiliary heater.
- Heating a second water loop, the energy that is initiated into the boiler via the electrical heating element or warm air is led into a second water cycle via a circulation pump. A merger of both water circuits (so that the cooling water cycle heats the second water loop) is also possible, whereby precautionary measures with regard to the flow temperature must be taken from the engine again accordingly.
Integration of a second water loop:
With Combiol it is possible to operate a second water loop with hot water. For example, underfloor heating can be realized, or towel radiators to be able to dry wet clothes and towels in the vehicle more easily.
Note that an expansion container is integrated into the water loop and the water, depending on the application, may have to be circulated by a circulation pump.

The warm shower kit 2.0 consists of two main components (heating and boiler) and material to connect them and thus install them so that a perfectly functioning system is created.
The heating system
The diesel heating heaters of the Autoterm company, with the two models Air 2D and Air 4D used here, have become an integral part of travel vehicles, boats and yachts. The manufacturer's robust heating devices from Latvia have been proving themselves for many years and enjoy the best reputation.
Important for self-builders: The installation may be carried out from the lay without warranty loss (if the enclosed manufacturer's instructions for installation! A case of damage must be checked by the seller and object to Autoterm). The heating devices also have an e-test mark, which means that the installation does not have to be entered by the TÜV.
Autoterm heating is economical in consumption and noise in operation. For even less noise development, SWACHTEMBORE is available on request.

The Boiler - Tigertexped & Autermotm Comboil:
The new hot-water boiler combination is a quality of quality, made in Western Europe and the only boiler for use with air condition heating that has an integrated thermostat in the versions with heating rods for the 230/110V operation (an optional thermostat module for operation over 12 /24v, is available shortly).
Combiboil can be monitored and regulated via the control panel of the Autoterm heating: The heating can now automatically regulate the temperature of the boiler via the corresponding settings on the control panel. The use of a control flap to be operated manually in order to be able to redirect the warm air in front of the boiler is finally superfluous for most of the use cases. Overheating with dangerous steam formation in the boiler is effectively prevented. Only with extremely high heating performance requires (e.g. arctic temperatures with suboptimal insulation), a control flap still makes sense.
Automatic frost protection can also be set on the control panel:
If the water temperature drops to 2 ° C, the heating automatically heats the water to +15 ° C and the ambient air to +7 ° C. For the winter storage, the water from the system should of course be drained, for which the boiler has its own drain valve. However, if the vehicle is left for a short period, this function can avoid, with a lot of effort the entire system must make frost -proof -with the warm shower kit 2.0 it is still effectively protected from frost damage.
The combboil hot water boiler is available with 7l, 9l and 12l volume. Our recommendation: 7L is sufficient for two people. The water heated in the boiler can reach a temperature of 80 ° C (depending on the heating method). By adding cold water due to the necessary adding, much more than 7L pleasantly warm shower water are available.
Remember: A more volume not only has advantages: more space has to be planned for a boiler with more volume. The heating time is also extended with a higher volume and heating up, especially in the case of electrical heating, consumes more energy. Last but not least, a corresponding amount of water must be carried and collected in a sewage tank. An unnecessary "too much" performance and volume quickly becomes a disadvantage.
We therefore recommend the 9L boiler from a number of people of three, the 12l boiler from four people.

Every vehicle is different, so we can't just put some things into the package. Depending on the situation and installation position, etc.
Heating holder / installation
The heating can be installed without a holder, but this is more complex and associated with the risk that the hole image does not fit exactly, tensions occur or the heat is not removed well. So it is mostly advisable to use a holder or our installation, which simultaneously simplifies assembly and ensures good thermal decoupling.
The brackets come in different versions for different soil thicknesses or e.g. for installing the heating into a back box. One of these owners is usually used for the warm shower kit, but you will also find the holder for other special application cases in the suspension heating accessories.
Water hoses
Similar to the brackets, the tube lines of the water system are. Every vehicle is different, the expansion situations and plans are individual. Calculate the length of warm and cold water hoses if you have set the installation position for heating, boilers and all other components of the water system and order accordingly.
Important: If the water is used for drinking or cooking, we strongly recommend that the hoses are certified. This can ensure that no harmful substances pass into the drinking water and the taste and composition by the material is not changed. Depending on the destination, water filters for germinating and a secure enjoyment of drinking water on every travel destination are also useful.
Print reducer:
Our boiler is made of high -quality stainless steel and precise. Nevertheless, you should limit the input pressure to 1.5 bar.
In all pressurized water systems and systems with diving pumps with a built -in or separate check valve, a pressure reducer in front of the boiler, which is set to 1 to 1.5 bar, should definitely be used. Incidentally, a safety valve to drain too high pressure does not have to be bought separately on the warm shower kit 2.0. Combone installed this ex works.
water pump
A decent pump puts the system on the necessary pressure and circulation. It must be strong enough to ensure a good and even flow in water filtering and enable a quiet operation of the water system. Preserved longevity and repairability.
