Description

The Victron Blue Solar MPPT 150/45 charge controller – without Bluetooth – is part of the extensive MPPT charge controller family and offers a wide range of features for the demanding user. Ultra-fast power tracking and automatic adjustment of the MPP voltage in partial shading are just two of the many highlights. This model supports parallel operation with other controllers of the same type.

VE-Direct options for programming, real-time data and history display
Modern Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks, and other devices can be connected via VE.Direct, for example, with Bluetooth Smart dongles and the MPPT app or the GX Color Control. Please note that Bluetooth Smart dongles and GX Color Control are separate items that are not included with the charge controller but can be purchased separately from us.

Maximum power point detection in partial shading
In the case of partial shading, two or more maximum power points (MPP) may exist on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to focus on a local MPP, but this may not be the optimal MPP. The innovative algorithm of the BlueSolar device will always maximize energy yield by focusing on the optimal MPP.

Product features of the BlueSolar 150/45 45A 12V 24V 36V 48V MPPT
- ultra-fast MPP tracker of the latest generation ensures the best possible yield even under overcast skies
- Automatic detection of the MPP voltage in partial shading ensures a further improvement in yield compared to "simple" MPPT charge controllers
- Integrated VE.Direct data communication port for connecting to additional devices such as Bluetooth Smart Dongle or the GX Color Control Panel
- high maximum efficiency of 98%
- Parallel operation with other 150/45 controllers possible
- adjustable constant charging voltage
- adjustable trickle charge voltage
- Suitable for all AGM, GEL, lead-acid calcium-calcium and lithium batteries
- tr version = connection of the solar modules via screw terminals (max. 35mm²)
- fully programmable charging algorithms that can be manually activated and switched via a switch on the housing
- Nominal charging current 45A, 150V maximum PV open circuit voltage
- Maximum PV power: 12V: 650W, 24V: 1300W, 48V: 2600W
- integrated protection against battery polarity reversal
- multi-stage and adaptive charging algorithm
-Protection class IP 43 for the electronic components and protection class IP 22 for the connection area of the controller
-integrated temperature sensor balances float and constant charge voltage according to temperature
-Day/night time control and light dimming option
-130x186x70

High-speed MPP tracker
Especially under overcast skies, when the light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Comprehensive electronic protection
- Protection against reversed battery connection
- PV backflow preventer
- Protection against overheating of the device
- Protection against short circuits
- Protection against reversed PV connection

VE.Direct data communication port
VE.Direct in text mode transmits all important parameters every second to other devices connected to the charge controller, thus enabling communication with additional devices such as the Bluetooth Smart dongle or the Victron GX Color Control Panel. The VE.Direct connection is intended for products where full CANbus integration (VE-Direct) would be too costly.
