Proper wiring of electricity in the vehicle is not only a question of orderliness but rather an imperative to ensure safety on board. The frequently encountered tangle of cables, which continues from the battery behind the furniture walls, makes it difficult to find the cause in the event of a fault and often poses a serious risk.
This is where small, indispensable helpers from the VOTRONIC peripheral device program come in, which among other things take care of the professional distribution or protection of the battery plus side and secure ground conditions.
Minus distributor 12
Compact, powerful distributor on the battery negative side for 12 individual circuits. Two large collective terminals (cable cross-sections up to 16 mm², current carrying capacity max. 50 A) serve to feed current back to the battery; they can also be used for a further minus passage distribution.
On the consumer side, 12 distribution terminals allow the connection of cable cross-sections of up to 4 mm² with a maximum current carrying capacity of 20 A. The minus distributor 12 is particularly recommended for ground merging in isolating (plastic) vehicle bodies or in the case of insufficient ground ratios. The cover hood provides a clean look. Suitable for 12 V and 24 V operation.
Minus distributor 14
Efficient distributor on the negative battery side for 12 individual circuits. Particularly recommended for mass distribution with isolating (plastic) vehicle bodies or uncertain mass ratios. The negative lead is connected to a solid screw block with a cable lug (cable cross-section 16mm², total current carrying capacity max. 96 A). If required, another screw block is used for further minus passage distribution (cable lug 16 mm²). It is distributed to 4 terminals (6 mm², max. 32 A) and 8 terminals (4 mm², max. 20 A). These circuits are labeled 1-12. The cover hood with cable routing comb ensures that the cables are held securely and that the appearance is clean. Suitable for 12 V and 24 V operation.
