The W2K-1 is a compact, low-power NMEA 2000 to Wi-Fi gateway with data logging. Data from an NMEA 2000 backbone is transmitted via Wi-Fi to devices such as laptops, tablets or smartphones.
All received data (or a selected subset) can be stored on the internal Micro-SD card and downloaded later for route data analysis.
This allows route data on charter boats or regatta data on sailing yachts to be analysed, logbooks to be generated, problems to be diagnosed, or your voyage details to be shared with others. Approximately 16 days of data can be stored on the pre-installed Micro-SD card (industrial grade). If required, an SD card with greater storage capacity can be fitted.
The W2K-1 features useful diagnostic LEDs, an internal antenna, enhanced password security, full certification, and all of this in an extremely rugged IP67 housing.
The W2K-1 features integrated conversion from NMEA 2000 to NMEA 0183 data, making a wide range of vessel data (e.g. position, speed, course, wind speed, depth, engine data, AIS messages, etc.) available to connected devices, including for use in NMEA 0183-compatible software.
