Digital Yacht ENGINLINK, monitor your engine data on a tablet, smartphone, PC, MAC or iPad with the ENGINELink NMEA 2000 WiFi Server from Digital Yacht.
ENGINELink enables the display of the boat's engine data, including RPM, temperature, pressure and battery voltage. This data is displayed in dashboard form via a web interface integrated into the device. This means there is no need to use a custom application.
iOS and Android devices can simultaneously display navigation data in a navigation app and engine data on the integrated web interface. This allows you to keep your preferred chart app open alongside the engine data.
Setting up and installing the device is simple. You only need to connect it to the NMEA 2000 network, and the ENGINELink is self-powered via the NMEA 2000 network. It creates a secure, password-protected local WiFi network that allows up to 7 devices to connect simultaneously. UDP and TCP/IP protocols are also supported to ensure compatibility with third-party applications.
Most modern inboard and outboard engines have an NMEA 2000 interface or can be retrofitted with one as an accessory. ENGINELink features predefined display pages for the most common manufacturers such as Honda, Yamaha, Yanmar, Volvo and even a page optimized for electric motors with a range calculator.
Currently, both single- and twin-engine installations are supported, and ENGINELink works with any engine equipped with an NMEA 2000 interface. If the boat is fitted with NMEA 2000-compatible hydraulic cylinders or stabilizers, their status is also displayed on the dashboard.
Configuration:
You can configure the ENGINELink via its own web interface. Simply open your web browser, enter the ENGINELink IP address, and you will be taken to the attractive dashboard to view your engine data. No additional programming software or app is required.
By default, EngineLink is configured for a single combustion engine, but it can also be set up for operation with two engines and/or compatible electric motors. In addition, the gauge page is fully editable, so you can change, hide or add gauges depending on the engine data available on your NMEA 2000 network.
You can change the network name and password or even merge the WiFi with an existing onboard WiFi network, and you can also view the received NMEA data in the web browser to simplify troubleshooting.
