plastimo - Transocean ISAF Liferafts
Designed for use even under extreme conditions: several large-volume ballast bags, large sea anchor, reliable activation even at -15°C, insulating double floor, self-righting bright orange canopy, external light 4.3 cd, 1500 cm2 light-reflective and radar-reflective strips.
As an additional feature, the liferaft has a boarding ramp with internal grab handle to make boarding easier. With this system, the casualty can lift themselves onto the ramp and then easily roll into the raft.
Under or over 24 hours: What is the difference?
Two types of survival equipment packs are available. They depend on the length of time the casualty may have to spend in the liferaft before rescue services arrive:
Standard contents: (rescue expected within 24
hours), contains all equipment associated with the liferaft, including pyrotechnics.
Emergency pack (rescue expected after more than 24 hours),
contains additional equipment such as water and food rations, additional light signals and torch, SOLAS thermal protective blankets.
The equipment can be supplemented with an additional survival bag.
Before a regatta, we recommend checking with the organizers about the exact required contents of the survival bag.
