This innovative charger has been specially developed for use in motorhomes, boats and other vehicles to ensure that you always have sufficient energy. With a maximum charging power of 260 watts and proven Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPP) technology, the charge controller maximizes the yield of your solar system by automatically determining the optimum operating point for the solar cells. This ensures efficient conversion of solar energy into electrical power and thus optimizes charging efficiency.

Two battery charging outputs

The Votronic 1717 MPP 260 CI solar charge controller has two battery charging outputs that enable automatic charging of the main supply battery (12V), as well as trickle charging and charge retention (max. 1 A) for the vehicle starter battery (start) with built-in overcharge protection.

IU1oU2 charging characteristic

The "IU1oU2" charging characteristic of the Votronic MPP 260 CI solar charge controller ensures the prevention of damaging acid coatings in lead batteries through a defined charging voltage increase (U1);ure stratification in lead batteries and ensures an equalizing charge of the individual battery cells (lead and lithium), followed by an automatic trickle charge (U2)

Switching output "AES"

The "AES" switching output enables automatic switching of refrigerators with "AES" (Automatic Energy Selector, Electrolux/Dometic) from gas to 12 V operation in the event of a sustained solar power surplus.
