THE LE300 SMART BATTERY SYSTEM IS A LITHIUM UPGRADE TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE LEAD BATTERY, AS WELL AS TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY AND LIFE OF THE OVERALL SYSTEM.
The lithium backup battery handles most charging cycles while the lead acid battery works as cheap backup storage. The lead battery is charged with a higher priority, with the lithium battery taking over the excess energy. When discharging, the lithium battery is primarily discharged. This means that the service life of the lead battery is significantly extended. The LE300 detects the lead-acid battery voltage and automatically starts supporting the lead-acid battery with a maximum current of 12.5A. Larger loads are supplied by the lead acid battery and the lithium battery in parallel, which means that less current is drawn from both batteries.
