Description

ACR EPIRB GLOBALFIX ™ V5 AIS-RLS, Manual, Cat II with AIS and Return Link Service (RLS)

The ACR Globalfix V5 EPIRB combines a wide range of innovative functions that make it a unique rescue solution. Your additional AIS warning ensures the fastest and easiest way to rescue, while the integrated Return Link Service (RLS) confirms directly to the Bake that the emergency report was successfully received-and thus conveys a soothing feeling of security.

The use of Near Field Communication (NFC) also creates smartphone connectivity that enables completely new access to data and product interactions. Thanks to these advanced functions, the Globalfix V5 is the perfect choice for seafarers who are traveling near the coast, on the high seas or even on long ocean crossings.

Advice:
-
Mobile app connectivity
- Dual 406 MHz and 121.5 MHz signal transmission
- AIS location signal
- Return Link Service

- Compatible with GPS, Galileo & Glonass
- GMDSS/ SOLAS approved (corresponds to the binding regulations of the International Sea shipping organization (IMO) (from July 2022) and the regulations for the protection of human life at sea (Solas).)

The most modern EPIRB (Emergency Positioning Radio Beacon) on the market:
The new ACR Globalfix V5 EPIRB sets standards in emergency communication. It combines the proven 406 MHz satellite connection with modern AIS technology (automatic identification system). This means that as soon as the EPIRB is activated, it not only sends an emergency signal to the global cospas sarsat rescue system, but at the same time transmits an AIS security report to FM frequencies. This allows all ships near AIS reception to recognize and react the position immediately.

In addition, the Globalfix V5 offers numerous other security functions:
- Return Link Service (RLS): A visual confirmation that the call was received
-121.5 MHz search signal: Supports location by rescue teams
- Visible & infrared stroboscopic lights: make it easier to find out at night or poor visibility
- Nah Feldkommunikation (NFC): enables the monitoring and maintenance of the EPIRB via smartphone app

With the Globalfix V5 EPIRB with AIS, ACR combines proven durability and reliability with the latest technology. The result: a significantly faster response time for rescue workers - and more security at sea.

Smartphone connectivity through near-area communication (NFC):
Simple diagnosis using a smartphone. Thanks to NFC technology (Near Field Communication), the epirb diagnosis can be called up quickly and easily via the smartphone. If you keep a smartphone near the Globalfix V5 EPIRB, the ACR Product app automatically opens and grants direct access to all important EPIRB data.

In the app, the user receives detailed Status information, including:
- Battery life duration
- Number of self-tested and GNSS tests carried out
- Duration of previous activation
- Detailed protocols of all self and GNSS tests

Map view of the GNSS tests:
- Location of the last test
- Date and time
- Time period for the GNSS coordinate determination
- Number of satellites used
- Accuracy of the position determination

Thanks to the simple NFC connection, the user can check the status of all EPIRB functions at any time and ensure that the device works perfectly.
