The Actisense NMEA 0183 Multiplexer (PRO-NDC-1E) is a type-tested, intelligent and robust platform that solves many interconnectivity problems.

The PRO-NDC-1E is reliable, robust and offers industry-leading isolation as standard on all inputs and outputs, so that connected devices avoid dangerous ground loops - the most common cause of product failures in NMEA 0183 networks.

The five NMEA 0183 inputs can be routed to one of the two NMEA 0183 outputs, creating a highly adaptable network. A bidirectional serial port enables communication between the PRO-NDC-1E and a PC using the Actisense USB-to-serial converter: USBKIT-PRO (sold separately), and the Ethernet port allows for easy configuration and diagnostics with Actisense software.

The configuration tool is accessible via any standard web browser (through the Ethernet connection), so there are no compatibility issues with the PC operating system. Using the web-based configuration tool, the user can fine-tune the exact data available at each output. By default, all data is routed to all outputs.

Thanks to the two-part connectors on the PRO-NDC-1E, new devices can be easily connected without having to remove the device from its mounting location.

The PRO-NDC-1E can either be mounted directly on the wall (using the screws supplied) or attached to a DIN rail using professional DIN rail brackets (sold separately).

Helpful LEDs indicate power, status, data input and data output to facilitate diagnostics.
