USG-2 NMEA 0183 USB Converter USB-to-Serial Gateway
The USG-2 ensures security and reliability when connecting a PC to your NMEA 0183 network.
It converts a USB port into a bidirectional serial port suitable for connection to a marine-standard NMEA 0183 data bus.
It offers a far more secure connection compared to standard USB-to-serial converters.

It offers a far more secure connection compared to standard USB-to-serial converters.
Galvanic isolation is ensured by the ISO-Drive™ output and the OPTO-isolated input, making installation simple and free from ground loops.
The input uses Actisense's OPTO isolation circuitry to protect all connected devices from the most common system errors. The input can receive very low-level signals, often too small to be received by a PC serial port.
The USG-2 is the safest way to connect a boat's data network to an onboard PC.
