For AGM batteries, the electrolyte (mixture of water and sulfuric acid) is largely bound in a fiber optic mat. This battery type is completely maintenance -free and there is no gas formation with normal use. In addition, these batteries can be installed anywhere.
Due to their construction, they will be unloaded very quickly with very high electricity consumption, which is why AGM batteries are ideal for systems with high power consumption (for example when starting the engine). The battery poles can be unscrewed. This battery type can be combined with any standard battery connection clamp.
