Description
Ideal for: Emergency antenna, backup antenna, kayaks, dinghy, lifeguards, jet kis & inflatable boats
The Galaxy Infl8-5 from Shakespeare Is the world's first emergency antenna with the performance that deserves the name Galaxy. It is an inflatable antenna that can be developed quickly via a CO2 cartridge or a manual hose and is inflated to 1.6 m (5 ft) to a full 3DB antenna with one up to three times larger than any to offer existing spiral -shaped emergency auto. Thanks to its inflatable design, the antenna can be emptied and safely stowed away in its easily accessible storage bag until it is needed again.
The antenna can be fastened quickly and easily with its Velcro tapes on support, boom or other vertical structures on board. The antenna also has eyelets on the upper and underside that facilitate the hanging and attaching to salingen, masts, hardtops and other structures, even if the inflatable bladder is damaged.
The connectors contained in the package enable versatile connection options. The soldered PL-259 connector enables direct connection to a stationary FM device or via the supplied SMA adapter to a handheld device. The pack also contains a solder-free UHF socket, with which the antenna can be scattered into existing coaxial cables on the boat.
