Description

CS 50Ah 51.2V Lithium LiFePO4 Marine/Boat Battery
520 x 268 x 220 | ~29.0 kg

The new propulsion class for your boat
New 48V lithium power battery as a full-fledged lead, gel, AGM battery replacement!

The CS-Electronic DeepC-Power LiFePO4 battery is a rechargeable lithium iron phosphate battery with a built-in battery management system (BMS) specifically designed for power boats. With the new lithium iron technology, you can quickly and easily replace your existing lead, gel, or AGM batteries for the first time.

The ultralight DeepC-Power battery can be used as a traction battery and can withstand short-term loads of up to 200A. The high continuous current of 100A offers high performance for your power drive across the entire speed range. The significantly lower weight, long operational reliability, long service life, and long service life are decisive advantages over conventional batteries of older technology.

Features:
High current resistant for power drives
Replaces a 48V / 100Ah lead battery
Built-in BMS
Very low weight, only 29kg
Fast charging
NEW: Optimized software for parallel connection of large battery banks
NEW: "Alternator-Protected" no additional electronics necessary to protect the alternator
NEW: including battery pole adapter -ribbed & nickel-plated-
High intrinsic safety, LiFePO4 cannot burn!
Can be used in all positions
Temperature stable
Over 3000 cycles at 90% discharge
Lifespan up to 10 - 20 years
100% maintenance-free
Environmentally friendly, no lead, no acid, recyclable!

Of the lithium-ion battery types, the lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4) is the safest. It has high current capability, is universally applicable, and is lighter than lead, gel, or AGM batteries. Furthermore, the latest lithium-iron technology offers a high degree of intrinsic safety, eliminating the risk of explosion even under the most extreme conditions. A 48V LiFePO4 battery consists of 16 individual cells connected in series, each with a nominal voltage of 3.2V. A built-in battery management system (BMS) further protects the battery cells from damage.

Advantages of our LiFePO4 DeepC-Power battery over lead batteries:
High discharge currents up to 200A possible up to the specified capacity
The up to 60% lower weight allows for more payload
Due to the smaller space requirement, more capacity can be carried in the same space
Up to 10 times longer service life due to the high number of cycles of LiFePO4 technology
Extremely fast charging of the cells possible
Complete discharge of the specified nominal capacity possible
The battery is protected by a Battery Management System (BMS)
Charging in the boat is done via common lead or acid chargers with a final charging voltage of 14.6V
The battery is winterproof and does not need to be removed down to -20° C
Delivered fully charged, install and drive off
The battery has M8 screw connections as standard, which can optionally be converted to the standard vehicle cone using our extra light pole adapters
No new charging electronics or additional electronics are required to use the battery
Due to the low self-discharge, a closed battery can be stored for up to 12 months without any problems
For more capacity, you can connect any number of batteries in parallel
For more voltage you can connect up to 2 batteries (maximum 48V) in series

Battery Management System (BMS )
A battery management system monitors and controls the individual cells of a battery and protects them from damage.
Important functions of a battery management system:
Overload protection
Deep discharge protection
Surge protection
Active cell balancing
Charging monitoring and control
Temperature protection of the cells
BMS temperature protection
Short-circuit protection
